The new operating system will support Xbox game streaming (through your home network), with improved speed and graphics performance thanks to DirectX 12 support. Xbox App – You will soon be able to play any Xbox One game on your PC or tablet, with the Xbox app for Windows 10. You can snap windows into new screens and tile Windows – just as you’ve been able to since Windows 2.0Ĭortana – Cortana, Microsoft’s intelligent digital assistant on Windows Phone 8.1, makes the jump to PCs with Windows 10, where she assumes control of the operating system’s search functions.Ĭortana can help you find all sorts of online information via natural language queries you ask using text or voice commands. Snap Assist helps you snap windows – New Snap Assist feature helps users work out which way is best to snap apps to.
